Fellowship ride in Ipoh with a group of matured men from butterworth, whom they called themselves Oldies on Foldies.
this is a 3 days 2 nights ride, main aim is to cycle with their folding bike to go round to visit the water falls nearby ipoh area.
main target is lata kinjang near tapah; lata chepor near chemor and also bukit bangkong at tanah hitam.
instead of many , lastly only 3 of the 8 members group can make it to the ride.
john pah of Ipoh has been invited to the ride as well . so a total of 5 of us in the ride.
1st day ride

first day ride is to lata kinjang .instead of riding to the destiny which is suggested to be too far from the starting point in ipoh , we decided to drive to kuala dipang and park our vehicle at jeram and started off from here.
along the kampong road, we do some spinning here , and the atmosphere at this hour is so calm, and so soothing for cycling.
the two tigers meet.
all along the ride is mostly under canopy.
after almost an hour of pedaling, we come to have a rest and chat at this malay man stall, he sells fruit and drinks, we take some banana and papaya and pineapple ; then we chat about politics, he says he is a patriotic of PAS .and we are DAP.
he believe PAS can come along better with DAP then BN....thats his idea; not mine.
john only talk about his TERN instead of politic.
i tell the malay man, i only love to cycle and the nature.
finally john wants to pay the bills but Tan Guan Hin got his money out faster then John.
group riding is fun. so this the auto timer in action.

distance for the ride is not very far, we purposely make it short so that we reach the destiny earlier then to enjoy the cold stream from the mountain.
at around 12 noon we are just on time, so we make it, all are here safely.
there are many campers at the site when we reached.
we unpacked ourselves and do some soaking in the stream.....cold . thats it.
look up, seems like the water is from the sky....
not only the water is cold, the breeze is soso cool...
thumbs up , with no regret.
there is an overhead bridge in the middle of the river, this link the banks of the river.

today's ride end up here, after the swim, we ride to the nearest chinese new village to have our late lunch here, and continue the ride back to kampar, enroute to UTAR after we had our coconut drink at the hawkers center in Kampar.
there is a heavy down pour in the ride, before we make ourway back to the parking place at jeram.
2nd. day
today is 30/8/2015
today also is happen to be the yellow day, ...or they call it the bersih 4 day.(demonstration day )
we start the ride from tasek to tanah hitam, chemor, propose to have a camping night at chepor river camp site.....
early in the morning , after the light roti canai breakfast at the mamak stall , we take off.....
come, have a snap shot, before we go on....
wow.....the cows, then we got to be act like cowboy....
must be a bit of shivering.....never experience of riding so near to the group of cows....
and we are in red jersey......danger sign to cows....
handsomely peace sign....
certain part of the road is not ridable by foldie, but overall the road is good.

there you are, we finally reach our destiny at lata ulu chepor....
we decided to camp here.... this is one of the suggested camp site,
huge stone in the river,
due to the sky is getting cloudy and the thunder storm is coming to attack this area tonight, so the plan to camp here for a night was cancelled...
last come to last, we decided to cycle back to taman tasek jaya to have another night of stay there.

3rd. day ride.
early after enough sleep, we visited the primary school near by.
came to my house to wifi and chit chat.
not only chinese tea is served, but buds are also being served...
the four heroes...
lastly before they on the journey bak home, we have our reunion lunch at LuLuMeng Restaurant.
just some simple dishes, simple is good , simple is healthy.
before we end the story...here we introduce the great star from bollywood, wishing malaysian selamat hari kemerdekaan....
