One day trip to Kuala Kurau

in conjunction with the bike week of penang, we plan a day trip to penang bike week which held in Juru Auto City ;and enroute to Kuala Gula, Kuala Kurau ; bagan seberang and tanjung piandang. passing by sungai udang, kampong sungai acheh to nibong tebal and bukit tambun then to the destiny Juru Auto City...ths is just a medium short ride of 350kilometers.

 these are the small prawns they catch from the river and they dried them and packed for sale

 after visiting kuala gula we went on to bagan seberang ,which is about 8 kilometers away from kuala gula.

 here the restaurant at bagan seberang....this restaurant is famous for its sun set view.... especially at around the evening the sun set views here are magnificent.

 the pier where motor boats  carry passengers to the floating fishing ponds on the river.

 here at bagan seberang the food court here are famous ...here sell variety of hawkers food. famous drinks here must try is " hor ka sai" this is the local favorite of coffee mixed with Milo.

 te curry noodles is one of the favorite too...

 the homestay at bagan seberang..... there are all in 7 rooms in the homestay.....

 tidy , nice and clean....a room can occupied 4 to 5 persons.....

 there are two bridges that link bagan seberang and kuala kurau....this picture show is the smaller bridge that can only carry pedestrian, bicycle and motorbike....stritly no car is allow...its too narrow for it.

 Ban pechah ....here is another tourists spot...

 these ban are made to avoid the erosion of the land that eat up by the sea tide...

 the ban looks prominent...

 finally we reached tanjung piandang...

 land mark for tanjung piandang is this big temple...

 here we are at sungai udang,....crossing this iron bridge to reach Nibong Tebal.

 the jetty here in the evening , tourists are here to board the boat to go and see the fireflies...

 at last we reached Juru Auto City to visit the bike week here ......
